Whether you are looking to reimagine one room or your entire home, at GDC, we begin every home remodel with an initial meeting to learn about your project, visualize your spaces, and explore design ideas and options. Strong relationships provide the foundation to a successful remodeling project, this begins with our initial meeting.

Design

With GDC at the helm of your remodeling, we will use our expertise to conceptualize your space in innovative ways. You will begin to see the design of your home come to life through our iterative process that includes frequent meetings to provide professional sketches, floor plans, and elevations. Throughout this process we will work with you to ensure there is a clear vision for the new space(s). As we get to know each other through this design process we will ask the right questions to ensure we create solution based designs that encompass your life style and movement in the home.

Select

At this point in our process we know you and your taste, and through our selection phase we provide curated finishes that will elevate your space(s). We will visualize your selections through renderings.

Document

We will then take the approved designs into the next phase which can include structural details, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing layouts. Our strong trade relationships created through 30+ years in the industry, ensure an accurate depiction of what is needed in your home to provide a smooth transition during the permitting and construction phases.

Permit

We will provide permit-ready construction documents for you to take to your builder, contractor, or we at GDC can file them for you. This process often feels overwhelming to many but our years of experience and relationships with the permitting office and other trades ensures a less stressful experience so that the project does not become derailed by delays or other unforeseen circumstances.

Oversight

At every step of the construction phase, we at GDC will be there with you. We will ensure the project is progressing to the specifications of our carefully designed plans by being in communication with you and your contractor until completion.
