Mt. Pleasant Galley Kitchen

The clients living in this DC row house wanted to expand their narrow galley kitchen and update it with clean modern finishes.  A rear addition provided space for the larger kitchen they desired and a new den for increased living space.  The new kitchen has more counter space, a separate desk area, seating at the end of the peninsula, and a more open feel.   The clients chose a stacked tile backsplash as a sleek, contemporary accent.  The new open floor plan improved flow and functionality of the space.   Expansive windows and glass patio doors were added at the rear wall to bring in plenty of natural light and create an inviting space.
