DC Design House 2017

The inspiration for our space was the architectural beauty of the double barrel ceiling vault.   To emphasize this we have installed LED lighting, hidden within the existing moldings that illuminate the ceiling, creating a warm glow as you experience the space.  To really draw your eye upward we installed wallpaper on the ceiling that adds a bit of twinkle!  The deep blue on the walls grounds the space and ties the ceiling to the onyx floors.  Complimenting the burst pattern in the wallpaper in the hallway outside of the library and theater, a new ceiling fixture is the focal point.  Our love for texture, nature and a recent road trip through some of the National Parks out west is the inspiration for the photographs and artwork found throughout the space.
